Review: The CX-3 provides some Mazda flair to the company crossover market. Despite the relatively modest 146 HP 4 cylinder engine, the CX-3 has some zip. Most of this is due to excellent handling. In addition to great handling, the CX-3 offers good style. Styling is edgy and better than most boring crossovers that it competes with. The interior also matches the impressive driving nature. It’s comfortable, looks good and has quality features.

Mazda CX-5

Specifications: $25,145+ - 25-31 mpg - 187 hp

Review: Like other Mazda models, the CX-5 looks great on both the inside and the outside. The CX-5 in particular looks more expensive than it really is. Like other Mazda cars, the CX-5 takes turns beautifully. The CX-5 isn’t without flaws however. Like many crossovers of this size, there is not a lot of extra space in the car. It could also use a little more power, but it’s not a fault that’s so glaring it can’t be overlooked. In the end, the CX-5 is a tidy little runabout that most people will be happy to own.

Mazda CX-9

Specifications: $33,275+ - 22-28 mpg - 227 hp

Review: When it comes to a three row crossover, the CX-9 provides a lot of enjoyment. It’s fun and drives well. Power is solid and combines decent fuel economy. It also looks good on the outside, especially from the front. Like a lot of crossovers, that third row is not exactly large. It’s best used for smaller children rather than adults. It also cuts into the cargo space available in the crossover, making that limited. For families that need a little fun in their school commute, this is a great vehicle. If cargo space is paramount, it may be time to look elsewhere.

Mazda 3

Specifications: $18,990+ - 28-38 mpg - 184 hp

Review: The Mazda 3 continues to be the gold standard when it comes to sportiness in the economy segment. The Mazda 3 continues to offer both sedan and hatchback options, giving buyers the choices they want. In addition to the great handling, the optional 184 HP gives it some solid pickup. While it doesn’t have all of the bells and whistles standard, options like heated seats, navigation systems and other safety features are at least reasonably priced.

Mazda 6

Review: Like other vehicles in the Mazda lineup, The Mazda 6 offers one of the sportiest vehicles possible in its segment. Many people see a family sedan as a boring option, but the Mazda 6 proves them wrong. Safety features like automated emergency braking are available. It also features an infotainment system. It’s a great looking sedan that doesn’t sacrifice practicality for the fun.

Mazda MX-5 Miata

Review: The Miata continues to be one of the most perfect little sports cars out there. While not loaded with power, the Miata is nearly perfectly balanced and zips around corners with aplomb thanks to its low weight. While the soft top convertible has been the traditional choice, it also offers a retractable targa top for people who prefer the hard stop style. The Miata is simple and does one thing well, it makes people happy!
