If there’s one company that provides an incredible car in almost every category, it’s Mercedes Benz. While we’re focusing on their vehicle product lineup, the truth is that Mercedes Benz creates almost every kind of transportation as well.

Their buses, coaches and transport trucks do a lot of the human and cargo shipping that takes place over land. They are incredibly active in Formula 1 racing and even make bicycles!

Mercedes Benz isn’t the part of the company that produces type of car. Their AMG division makes some of the most incredible vehicles on the planet by taking the Formula 1 pedigree and inserting it into road cars. Mercedes Benz is spread throughout automotive history, but their modern product line is incredible as well!

Mercedes Benz B-Class- $40,900+

84 MPGe - 7.3/10.0

Mercedes introduced the B-Class in order to provide their customer with an electric alternative. There’s a few issues with the B-Class however. The first is the range. 87 miles per charge really isn’t enough for a good electric car. The second is the lack of luxury. Luxury cars are intended to allow people severe comfort. With an electric car, you can’t allow things to drain the battery or you reduce the range even further.

Mercedes Benz C-Class- $40,500+

29.0 mpg - 9.0/10.0

The C-Class has been kicking butts and taking names in the entry level luxury market forever. The C-Class is currently made in every configuration you can think of. If you like 4 doors, then you have your standard sedan. Otherwise you can pick up a coupe or convertible. Hybrids are also available.

Mercedes Benz CLA-Class- $33,400+

38.0 mpg - 5.7/10.0

The CLA is Mercedes trying to match up with the BMW 2 series. The CLA is cheaper than the C Class. It is weaker than the C Class and the design isn’t as good looking as the C Class. It handles a bit like a boat and the ride is rougher than it should be. What you should be taking from this is that if you can afford a C-Class, you probably want the C-Class.

Mercedes Benz CLS-Class- $75,800+

26.0 mpg - 6.1/10.0

The CLS is one of the new modern four door coupes. The CLS is actually based on the E-Class chassis instead of the C-Class. The price jumps pretty heavily thanks to that. The downside is that the base model only comes with 329 horsepower. It’s not nearly enough for that cost. You can take it higher and look at the AMG version, but you’re going to have to pay even more.

Mercedes Benz E-Class- $53,100+

30.0 mpg - 9.9/10.0

The E-Class is well known for being one of the most common and reliable luxury cars ever produced. The E-Class is available is as many different versions as the C-Class does but also has a wagon thrown into it. The luxury wagon is a concept that the German luxury car companies do incredibly well. Most versions are sold with the 329 horsepower V6.

Mercedes Benz G-Class- $123,400+

14.0 mpg - 7.5/10.0

The G-Class hasn’t been redesigned for almost 40 years. The thing is… that’s perfect! The G-Class has a 416 horsepower V8 that lets you fling it around. The G-Class is filled with modern SUV luxury. You would hope it would be at that cost. However the other thing is that the G-Class is one of the strongest and toughest vehicles to ever be designed. It combines the modern luxury of an Escalade, the off road capabilities of a Range Rover and the pure strength of an Abrams tank.

Mercedes Benz GLA-Class- $35,000+

32.0 mpg - 9.3/10.0

The GLA is a very small crossover that really verges on a hatchback. The GLA has both eco and sport modes to drive in. While in eco mode it’s a perfectly competent city and highway vehicle. But once you pop it up into sport mode, the GLA flings itself through corners beautifully and acts exactly like a hot hatch should!

Mercedes Benz GLC-Class- $40,100+

28.0 mpg - 6.3/10.0

The GLC is a crossover created from the C-Class. However it’s just not as good as the C Class. However it can be hard to match up to a legend. One nice thing about the GLC is that this crossover comes with rear wheel drive as the standard option. It’s also quiet and comfortable inside.

Mercedes Benz GLE-Class- $53,000+

22.0 mpg - 7.5/10.0

The GLE is the midrange sport utility that Mercedes has developed for people. Available in both rear and all wheel drive, the GLE also has a wide range of other customizations to make the SUV their own. If you’re choosing an engine, you can go traditional, diesel or hybrid as well!

Mercedes Benz GLS-Class- $68,000+

22.0 mpg - 9.9/10.0

The GLS is easily the best SUV that Mercedes has put into circulation. While all the others have some basic issues, the GLS hits all the notes. The GLS comes with crosswind assist and a ton of different safety features. It has room for 7 and is severely comfortable. The only slight issue that may mar the otherwise sterling finish of the GLS is the lack of great fuel economy.

Mercedes Benz S-Class- $97,600+

25.0 mpg - 10.0/10.0

The S-Class is basically a perfect car. The S-Class gives you every possible luxury item you could ever want. In addition to that, it manages a 4.4 second 0-60 time. While there’s no need to push things when you’re driving an S-Class, you can if you want to!

Mercedes Benz SL-Class- $87,900+

28.0 mpg - 9.1/10.0

The SL is one of the best sports cars available. It’s a beautiful touring car that provides you incredible comfort over long distances. The SL can get anywhere from 362 to 449 horsepower. Of course, you can also get the AMG option if 449 horsepower isn’t enough for you in your sports car.

Mercedes Benz SLC-Class- $48,900+

32.0 mpg - 6.2/10.0

The SLC allows Mercedes to offer up a cheaper more reasonably priced roadster to their lineup. Unlike a lot of convertible roadsters, the SLC sticks to a retractable hardtop. This makes it somewhat more useful for those in rainy and snowy climates. The engine does only produce 241 horsepower however.
