Acura is the premiere luxury brand of Honda and specialises in high performance vehicles. Acura vehicles are sporty and sophisticated, expertly treading a line between athleticism and opulence.

The latest crop of Acura vehicles have top safety ratings, high performance powertrains, and roomy interiors. In a recent statement, Jon Ikeda, Acura vice president, said that "Precision Crafted Performance is the future of this brand but it's not a destination. It's a mindset and a commitment to doing new and challenging things based on our own unique ideas for our customers." The ILX, TLX, and RLX sedans have recently been redesigned to stand out from the crowd. Yet, it's the SUV range that has the most dramatic stylistic elements with the MDX and RDX. Then, there's the over-the-top performance style of the 2019 Acura NSX to consider. It's now available as a sport hybrid. Acura vehicles have traditionally taken a conservative approach to their exterior styling, but that seems to be changing with Acura's most popular models for 2019. Check them out:

1 - 2019 Acura TLX

The Acura TLX sits in the middle of the performance sedans. It’s slightly larger than the ILX and comes in below the weight of the RLX, but it shares many of the same features. That makes it one of the most popular vehicles in the Acura lineup. The exterior design is subdued and elegant. Yet, under the hood, the TLX is anything but. It has a strong V6 engine that is capable of achieving 290 horsepower and a thrifty inline four cylinder engine that reaches 206 horsepower. All-wheel drive and a 9-speed automatic transmission keep the Acura TLX flowing and snapping through tight turns with ease. When equipped with the A-Spec package, the TLX gains some sporty accents like black rear spoiler and bumper, A-Spec badges, and dual exhaust ports.

2 - 2019 Acura MDX

The 2019 Acura MDX is one of the most popular vehicles in the Acura lineup because it has three rows of seating. Most automakers have done away with the third row for their midsize crossovers, but Acura has found a way to keep the third row without compromising on interior space. The MDX has 132.7 cubic feet of passenger volume and up to 30.9 inches of legroom on the third row. It’s not all about the roomy interior either. The 2019 MDX is still a performance driving machine. It has all-wheel drive and two different engine options. It can be outfitted with a 3.5 Liter V6 or a 3.0 Liter V6 hybrid combination powertrain. The Technology Package also delivers blind spot information, a multi-view rear camera, and a rear cross traffic monitor.

3 - 2019 Acura RDX

The 2019 RDX has a new design architecture and the exterior body is full of aggressive shapes and contours that catch the eye. The front grille has a dynamic 3D logo and the roofline seemingly floats on air. It’s one of the most well-rounded crossover SUVs on the market today. The RDX handles like a dream with all-wheel drive, a 10-speed automatic transmission and a newly-equipped turbo-charged four-cylinder engine. The interior space of the new RDX benefits from a new chassis that adds 2.6 inches between the wheels. Now, there’s more leg room in the rear and a more spacious feel throughout the cabin. The RDX’s interior is awash in sophisticated materials. When equipped with the Advanced Package, the 2019 RDX crossover delights with heated and ventilated front leather seats and natural olive ash burl wood accents.

4 - 2019 Acura NSX

This is Acura's next generation supercar and it also happens to be a hybrid. It has a twin-turbo V6 gasoline engine and two electric motors. The design is revolutionary with the two electric motors sitting up front and mechanically independent rear hybrid system in the rear. The 2019 NSX is capable of reaching 573 horsepower and 476 lb. ft. of torque. With a top speed of 191 miles per hour, the 2019 NSX is able to keep up with nearly any high-performance supercar on the road. The powertrain is managed by a 9-speed dual clutch transmission. It has nearly instantaneous response and torque. The cockpit has a simple aesthetic that is meant to form a synergy between man and machine. Everything from the seat design to the steering wheels and pedals are designed to create a one-of-a-kind driving experience.
